Third step to change: Appropriate & Truthful guidance.

So now you have worked your way through the first two steps; the urge to grow & finding a willingness to make changes. After these two steps a truthful guide is important - why?
Because, now that you have all this inspired energy to act upon the changes you want to make in your life, it is important that this energy and inspiration is guided to the right, most effective and safe, way! Otherwise frustration might kick in, as the indecision of where to start enters the mind.
I am very fortunate to have found my teachers so early on in my life. I can not imagine anymore what life would be like without having truthful guidance and support! It is a crucial element of learning and moving on in life - to have someone who, with integrity, supports and follows your progress.

When it comes to making a change this support is extremely important. I mean, why would you do it all alone? We are meant to be each others angels, right?
So there is no need to try to do it all on your own. It is not impossible to do it on your own, but it’s much easier, faster and more fun with experienced & loving guidance. Why try to reinvent the wheel when it has already been discovered?

Find someone, who has been where you are now - and is now where you want to be in the future. This is the person to listen to!

Warning: there are a few obstacles on this step:
-  arrogance
-  pride - a full cup.

This is why, as you take this step of finding truthful guidance, carry with you the powerful quality of humility - a cup that is open to receive with discernment.
Discernment. What does that mean?
It means that whenever you study something, question it - do not believe blindly these words you are reading, however do not completely reject them either. Investigate - see for yourself! Try it out and see if it actually works. Trust towards a teacher (or in fact anyone; a friend, a workmate exc) is something you build - it should not be blind, but based on solid proof of its worth.
So as you look for a teacher, make sure you find one who is truly there for You - and not for their own ego. This teacher will, with integrity, tell you the necessary actions to take in order to make your change happen effectively; avoiding unnecessary frustration.

Then you are ready to take the 4th step - taking action!
More about this coming soon!
