The Art of Relaxing - The indelible scar of stress

If I asked you if you've ever experienced stress your answer would most likely be that of 99% of all of us: yes. I haven't yet met a person who wouldn't have had stress at some point in their lives. Yet stress wears us out, diminishes us and makes us older. When in stress we feel our body becoming tight; the tension building up in the muscles and tissues. The mind becoming restless and negative, losing patience in the slightest challenges. The emotions becoming rapidly changing and unbalanced, reacting strongly when things don't go our way. 
My teacher Aadil Palkhivala beautifully expresses the effect of stress with this quote: 

''Every stress leaves an indelible scar, and the organism pays for its survival after a stressful situation by becoming a little older.''

So we want to undo and release stress. But how? Through relaxation.
