The Art of Relaxing - 7# Beautiful feeling

7# Feel a beautiful feeling

Most of the time we think. We spend our days in the midst of the mind's inner talk. That inner talk takes us into the past through memories and into the future through plans and expectations.
That activity of thinking is very necessary and useful in our daily life.
It is only when it stays on a constant ''repeat''-mode that is becomes tiring and unpleasant.

Do you know that feeling when you are trying to relax, have a nap or go to sleep at night, and your mind is taking you on a journey from memories to plans? What can you do in that moment to reset yourself into the peaceful relaxing parasympathetic mode?
This weeks tip is for that.

When we think we alter between past and future.
When we feel we are always in the present.
When we are in the present we feel alive.

This weeks tip to relax and restore in the evenings, during the day, or upon waking up in the morning and wanting to start the day right:

1. Think of a sentence that instantly gives you a beautiful feeling.
for example;
''Everything I have, I have received'' - feeling: Gratitude
''I am a Creator, and my life is my creation'' - feeling: Empowerment
''I am so much more than I can see in the mirror'' - feeling: Self-Love

2. Then let go of the sentence and focus only on the feeling.

You will notice how your entire body will release, your mind will become completely quiet and receptive and most importantly; your heart will open.

Spent some time in that feeling - what ever we focus on in our life, expands.
As you focus on the beautiful feeling it will become even more present in your life and you will feel more peaceful and grounded.

After doing this and getting into contact with the beautiful feeling you can add the technique of Mental Centering (discribed in the previous post) for extra presence and clarity.
